Pets bring so much joy and enrichment to life, but there are lots of annoyances that pet owners put up with. One of the most popular pet peeves? Pet. Hair. Everywhere. Even those who vacuum regularly can’t escape this hairy reality, especially when fur finds its way into dark corners and between floorboards.
Luxe brands like Dyson boast smart features that highlight any stray strands, but the price point is pretty high. Now, there’s a new vacuum in town—and it’s made for anyone sick of reaching for a lint brush yet again.
The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder stays true to its name with a hair-illuminating headlight that helps track and eliminate errant fuzz. It’s time to wave goodbye to pet hair for good!
Find fur fast with the built-in headlights on the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder.
Let’s be honest: We all have better things to do than tracking down every single hidden hair on our floors. Luckily, the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder doesn’t. The FurFinder is a convertible, cordless stick vacuum designed to detect and highlight hair anywhere using its built-in high and low beam headlights.
Using the headlights, folks can easily see each and every fluff, fuzz and speck of dirt on the floor. There’s no need for a second pass the next day, because there’s no missed spots! Bonus: This helpful feature works for both the stick vac and the handheld conversion and doesn’t take up too much battery life, since the FurFinder can run for up to 40 minutes on a single charge.
In addition to the headlights, the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder also includes a catalog of other useful features. One of our favorites is the handheld FurFinder tool. It includes strong bristles and a “de-furring strip” that removes deeply woven pet hair from upholstery and fabric.
Another useful feature is the HEPA allergen system inside the filter, which captures dust, pollen and dander. As mentioned, the vacuum also converts from a cordless stick vacuum to a handheld, and there’s even a reach tool for hard-to-clean places like curtain rods and ceiling fans.
While we haven’t tried this particular model, our team of professional product testers has tried many Bissell machines over the years. Previous tests include the Bissell SteamShot, the Little Green Machine and a number of Bissell vacuums for pet hair. These include both upright vacuums like the PowerForce Helix and vacuum-mop combos like the SpinWave. Overall, we find the brand offers good quality at a fair price.
Say goodbye to pesky pet hair—the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder detects even the smallest fuzzball.
Pet parents who want to win the war against pet hair can purchase the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder on the brand’s website. It retails for around $230, or nearly half the price of luxury vacuums. It’s a worthwhile investment, especially for those who experience allergy symptoms from pet dander.
