McDonald’s Snack Wrap Returns with One Special Catch

It’s been a devastating nine years since one of my absolute favorite fast-food menu items was sadly discontinued—the McDonald’s Snack Wrap. It was small, but it was mighty. Easy to order, easy to snack on and impossible to forget. My heart grew evermore forlorn with every passing day it was absent from the menu. While that may sound a bit dramatic, and it probably is, the hurt was warranted.
But something up above decided to open the heavens and shine down upon me. Last December, we got wind that the Snack Wrap may be making its ultimate return. My heart fluttered at the thought. Then, another discontinued Mickey D’s favorite, the McCrispy Strips, also made a comeback. Now, we’ve finally gotten confirmation that the Snack Wraps are indeed coming back this summer, and I positively needed everyone to know.
When is the McDonald’s Snack Wrap returning?
Starting July 10, 2025, we’ll finally be able to get our loving little hands on all the Snack Wraps we could possibly want. I remember grabbing a few between high school practices and softball games. They were honestly a lifesaver. They were a quick bite that didn’t make me feel so weighed down, and they pair seamlessly with a side of McDonald’s fries. For all I know, Snack Wraps were secretly giving me all the power I needed to succeed. You never know!
This time around, McDonald’s is gifting us two flavors:
- Spicy Snack Wrap: Anyone who likes a bit of heat will love the bold zest and wicked fire in the Spicy Snack Wrap. Much like the Spicy McCrispy sandwich, a whole ‘lotta habanero will take the spotlight on this one.
- Ranch Snack Wrap: Our tried-and-true returns. The Ranch Snack Wrap was my favorite back in the day, and I imagine it will easily reclaim its place. With a mix of smooth ranch, garlic and onion, you’ll find yourself ordering two or three of these at a time. Trust me.
McDonald’s is really giving us everything we’ve ever wanted this year. Aside from the return of the McCrispy Strips and the Snack Wrap, the chain is also bringing in new drinks inspired by its soon-to-close spinoff location, CosMc’s.
How long will the McDonald’s Snack Wrap be available?
Snack Wrap lovers, I’m going to need you to buckle up. The catch is that there is no catch. It’s coming back to stay this time. McDonald’s has officially confirmed that the Snack Wraps will be a permanent addition to the menu. If you had told 2016 me that this was in my future, I would have never believed you. But look where we are now.
